Coaching Announcement
Biggar RFC is pleased to announce a new chapter in Nic Humphries’ coaching journey, as he steps away from his role as Director of Rugby to focus fully on two key areas of the club’s future: as Head Coach of the Women’s Team and Director of Youth Rugby.
Nic has made a significant impact during his time as Director of Rugby. His passion for the game has played a crucial role in Biggar’s recent development and success.
Now, with an eye on building sustained growth and continued success, Nic is narrowing his focus to the areas he is most passionate about – nurturing the next generation of Biggar talent and guiding our women’s team at the top level of the domestic game.
As Head Coach of the Women’s Team, Nic led the squad to the highlighted promotion to the Premiership – a landmark achievement for the team and the club. His dedication, tactical knowledge, and ability to bring the best out of players have helped create a dynamic and confident group ready to take on the challenges of top-flight rugby.
At the same time, in his role as Director of Youth Rugby, Nic continues to play a pivotal part in developing the player pathway, ensuring our young athletes are supported, challenged, and inspired as they progress through the ranks.
This focused approach allows Nic to concentrate his energy on two of the most exciting and important areas of Biggar RFC. His continued involvement is a huge asset, and we’re thrilled to have him leading the charge in these vital roles.
