Congratulations to the Senior men who won the Moffat 10's Cup last Saturday (24th July).
The squad had 4 round robin games before meeting Dumfries in the final.
Pigbarians 34-5 win
Annan 17-7 win
Dumfries 7-0 win
Moffat 31-0 win
Final v Dumfries 24-7 win.
This is the 3rd time Biggar have won the Moffat event. This is a great season opener, as good in fact as the Moffat Mini tournament is a great season ending.
The fact that this was a really young squad was as rewarding as the win itself. With several experienced players retiring, unavailable or injured these youngsters will need to make the transition to the senior game quickly.
One of these youngsters Hyland Gracie, who scored a hat-trick in the final was rewarded as he was announced as Player of the Tournament. Congratulations Hyland!
