Hall of Fame

Last Saturday saw the clubhouse filled with some 200 members and friends all there to attend the club's Inaugural Hall of Fame event.

Organised by Club President Fraser Campbell, the main theme was to recognise those who have achieved international selection, those who have amassed significant numbers of senior caps and those who played in the club's first ever XV.

Happiness is Egg-Shaped facebook author Bruce Aitchison was on hand to host the evening and he did so with his customary aplomb, making sure the evening ran perfectly to time whilst also regaling the diners with some entertaining stories.

Presentations were made to those club members who have achieved international selection, those Ladies and Gents who have attained significant 1st XV appearances and to those who remain from the first ever Biggar RFC team in 1975.

A massive thank you to all who helped make the evening the undoubted success that it was. Host Bruce, President Fraser, Bar Staff, Catering staff and of course all the paying guests.

Methinks however that there could be a rush to get tickets for next year!
