The Senior Men's section held their annual Presentation Evening on Saturday. Around 90 were in attendance to listen to some great speeches from (in order) 2nd XV coach Craig Whitefield, Dale Clancy (Peebles), retiring Senior Men's coach Craig Borthwick, 1st XV co-captain Ross Jackson and Andrew Barrie who proposed the vote of thanks.
President Gordon Young hosted the evening and the The Crown, Biggar provided an excellent meal fit for the occasion.
Coach Borthwick stands down after a 7-year association with the club and Ross Jackson spoke warmly of Craig’s influence as both a player and as coach. Craig himself received a standing ovation following his speech. With a young family, a busy profession as a stonemason and work on the family farm, the thrice weekly drive from Clovenfords was becoming more of a challenge while Craig had always maintained that a 2/3 year stint was sufficient for most coaches and clubs.
The club wishes Craig and his family all the very best in the future in whatever shape that may take. Co-captain Rowan Stewart made a presentation to Craig on behalf of the Senior squad.

The club is in the process of finding a replacement and hopes to be able to make an announcement in the next few weeks.
The season awards were as follows
R. A. M. Stewart Players Player (voted by the players): Lewis Stewart
