Life at Biggar RFC is already exciting but excitement levels are about to go through the roof with our latest plans for a major clubhouse extension.
It’s now 7 years since we reconfigured and added to our dressing room accommodation and, unbelievably, some 4 years since we developed our pitches.
We don’t like to stand still however and with our 50th birthday in 2025 we’re making plans to upgrade our clubhouse to enable us to cope with our growing club membership.
To this end we are hosting two meetings.
The first is on Thursday 28th (this week) and is aimed at our existing club membership (including parents and guardians of our players). Starting at 8.30pm, to allow the senior players to attend after training, Nigel Pacey and the committee will be on hand to present plans for a building which will be unrivaled in Scotland.
The second meeting is an Open meeting, including an invitation to our membership, and will be on Thursday 5th December, starting at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm.
We’d really appreciate your attendance and your opinions on the plans.
This is YOUR club and anything we do has to be something which you as the membership are happy to support.
