Massive congratulations to the members of the Youth squads who all lifted trophies at the weekend.
First up on Saturday were Biggar Colts who travelled to Falkirk for the Plate final. Despite losing a player to a red card (two yellows made a red) Biggar plugged away to eventually wear their hosts down.
The final score was 27-5 and saw Biggar crowned Plate Champions of 2025.
Next up, on Sunday morning the Girls U16's took the field to take on visitors Ayr in the Girls U16 Plate competition. Again the weather played a significant role but Biggar managed to stay in focus and return a 20-14 score at the match end.
This led to this squad becoming U16 Plate Champions of 2025.
And later on, on Sunday the U18 Girls took on Dunfermline in the U18 Youth Cup final. This was played on the big Murrayfield International pitch which in itself is a great honour. A fantastic second half spell broke the Dunfermline spirit though the Fifers came back strongly in the dying minutes.
Biggar ran out to a 48-25 win. Youth Cup Champions 2025.
