Has there ever been a closer, more dramatic finish to the 6 Nations?
I doubt it, as very often one or more of the Super Saturday matches is pretty much academic with final placings sorted. This year however each of the three matches have huge importance for each team. France, Scotland and Ireland are all in the Championship title race (Scotland to perhaps claim their first ever 6 Nations title) while Ireland and Scotland will fight over the Triple Crown.
Italy have to beat Wales to equal their best ever 4th place finish having already claimed a first ever win over England.
Wales will be desperate to show progress and claim their first win of this campaign to end their current record of 15 straight losses while England who lost out to Italy for the first time ever, must provide some hope for their beleaguered fans.
