Mike Booth

Mike hasn’t played Rugby since 1975 – the year he went to sea on a BP Tanker, so claims no fame in the game. His understanding of the rules hails from the same era, which is why he can be seen most home games disagreeing with the referees decision on a regular basis. (In a gentlemanly manner of course). Both of his boys enjoyed playing and training with Biggar youth sides which is where his attachment to the club began. He has continued to be an ardent supporter and member being able to see so much more of the team since his retirement from foreign travelling 3 years ago. Enjoying retirement too much, he was delighted to be asked to help the club in the position of Secretary in November 2020.
