As a founder member of the club, Ian served as a player a for over 20 years during which he fulfilled various committee posts. He has been Match, Team and Club Secretary and was President in Season 2002-04 when the Club gained Premiership status.

By profession Ian was a banker with over 20 years experience in Corporate and Commercial Banking with RBS. As such he has a sound knowledge in assessing business and lending proposals and opportunities. Ian is no stranger to Trusts as he is currently serving his second term as a Director of Leavenseat Environmental Trust and is a member of the Trust's Funding Steering Group.

He hopes to bring a fiscally based approach to the role of Trustee for our club, acknowledging the club's development as a sporting enterprise and as a major part of the ever widening community within Biggar and the wider area.
