Colin was a player when the club started back in the 1970's. A back in his day he played for just a few seasons before his work took him south to London. He played for the Royal Bank when in London. A keen tourist himself, Colin acted as a great contact for trips to Twickenham.

He returned to Biggar some years ago and was quick to volunteer his services, taking the Membership Secretary role from GY. He has made a great job, bringing more than just a pencil and scraps of paper to the job and bringing the records into the 21st century!
