Mini Tournament

Another fantastic day!

Here are the results from today's event and a THANK YOU from Joanne Kerr, Mini Convenor.

Evening All

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that helped out to make today's Mini Festival a big success. Your help was very much appreciated

We hosted over 370 children and their siblings/parents/guardian/ coaches, which is a massive undertaking.

Special thanks again to Rory Conn and Scottish Sea Farms for sponsoring today's festival.

To GY, Jan Harper, Carolyn Cairns and Susan Gray for organising the food, everyone was delighted with our hospitality.

Roger, Nic, Calum, Gregor and all the referees/runners - from taking time out to set up the briefing on Thursday evening and keeping everyone on track throughout the event. Please pass on our thanks and lots of great feedback from parents and coaches throughout the day. .

Helen, Jen & Trina for helping with the scoring.

Al, Peter and all that helped with parking on the day another big task to undertake.

Fergus Watson & Holly Wilson for handing out the prizes - all the kids were delighted to see you at the event.

Stuart Plenderleith - thanks for making sure all the pitches were set up for the day.

Nigel - for taking the photographs throughout the day.

GY - thanks for carrying out all your presidential duties and for sorting out all the logistics in the background.

Also, well done to all the Biggar teams today who represented their club and made everyone very proud.  And of course, none of this would be possible without our coaches, coordinators and parents! I hope you all enjoyed the afternoon. thank you all for making sure everything ran smoothly on and off the pitch and to Angela for organising the rotas.

Please pass on my thanks to all the parents to thank them for helping with goody bags, making rolls on Sunday morning, to all those who did a stint on the café and tuck shop and to the team who managed the tombola throughout the afternoon

Today's Winners were:

And lastly, but not least to Trina, for her support and guidance throughout my first proper festival experience. It most definitely wouldn't have been as smooth without your help and support.

The day is only possible due to all the help and support from all the BRFC committee / members, coaches and supporters, everyone that turned up in the lead up to the festival and throughout the day to ensure all the kids could have a great experience at Hartree Mill.

Apologies, if I have missed anyone off the list, please pass on my thanks or let me know so that I can reach out. We are very fortunate that there are almost too many people to thank.

I would appreciate any feedback for improvements for next year and to also keep a note of next years festival which will be held on Sunday 13th September 2026.

Thank you all!

Joanne
